# Stake PACIFIC

You will need to have PACIFIC in your wallet before being able to stake PACIFIC. Please read our guide [here](/pacific-defi/how-to-buy-pacific.md) on how to buy PACIFIC. There are no fees with staking, however with BSC staking of PACIFIC there is a lock period. Harvested rewards can only be claimed after the lock period is over.

**Step 1:** Visit [www.pacific-defi.com](https://pacificdefi.gitbook.io/pacific-defi/products/staking-and-farming/www.pacific-defi.com)

**Step 2:** Click 'LAUNCH APP' button 

**Step 3:** Click 'Liquidity Pools' tab

**Step 4:** Make sure you are connected to BSC network

**Step 5:** Click the arrow to expand the 'PACIFIC' pool

**Step 6:** Enter the amount of PACIFIC you would like to stake, press 'Deposit to Vault'. MetaMask will ask you to approve the transaction. Submit the transaction and wait a few seconds until it is confirmed by the network&#x20;

**Step 7: After confirming the transaction, you are now a PACIFIC staker!**&#x20;
